Our Location in Westmeath

Lough Bishop House Bed & Breakfast is located in Co. Westmeath, in the Midlands of Ireland. As well as providing overnight guest accommodation we are a working Organic farm with sheep, Irish Moiled Cattle and Irish Draught Horses.

Dublin Airport, Dublin Ferry Port and Dun Laoghaire Ferry Port are the nearest points of entry into the country.

If using Sat Nav please note that they have not all been updated to use Eircodes. So if using Sat Nav or the old fashioned ‘Map’ use Castlepollard as your destination and follow these directions:

From Castlepollard take the R394 signposted for Mullingar. At Whitehall turn left opposite the school onto the L5738. Follow this narrow country lane for approx 3km and our entrance will be on the right hand side. There is a sign at the gate. You cannot see the house from the road.

Please note that we live in a very rural location and it is not possible to visit us without your own transport!
